What you’ll do

As the Head of Architecture and member of the Global Services Leadership team, you will report to the VP of Service Delivery and Customer Success, working closely with Sales and the rest of the Global Services organization. You will be responsible for leading a technical architecture function, building out a community of practice, as well as ensuring your team’s technical solutions not only support the technical pre-sales process but also meet and exceed our customers' expectations. By working closely with Sales and Account Management group to ensure our go-to market strategies are client ready, and ensuring the Architecture team are supporting the delivery, your strategic vision, leadership, and technical expertise will be critical in driving problem-solving approach to providing services to our customers.

• Lead the definition and execution of the technology architecture strategy and tactics, ensuring their alignment with Devtech’s goals and objectives.
• Lead the architecture community within Devtech, ensuring the right architecture roles are supporting client pre-sale and providing technical leadership during delivery engagements. Own the definition and evolution of those roles. 
• Hire, onboard and manage performance of a high-performing team within the architecture function. Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development to the team helping them grow their skills and careers. 
• Own the definition and involvement of architecture roles within our delivery models, ensuring a well-defined, effective, and collaborative engagement model for architecture is established on each project.
• Be actively involved in the client-winning and initial project shaping activities, work closely with the Sales and Account management teams to provide technical expertise during the technical pre-sales process, including proposal creation, RFPs, proposals and other client-facing presentations, and solution demonstrations. 
• Oversee the technical aspects of project execution, supporting the successful delivery of digital services within scope, budget, and timelines. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure your team designs and delivers tailored solutions that meet and exceed client expectations, ensuring appropriate scalability, reliability, and security.
• Identify and mitigate technical architecture risks, ensuring that performance, scalability, reliability, and compliance requirements are effectively met.
• Engage clients who will have varying degrees of technical or agile maturity to lead technical innovation and the development of strategy, helping customers in their transformation challenges.
• Support Devtech’s go-to-market strategy both internally and externally, by participating in events, and creating publications and presentations.
• Implement better practices, quality control processes, and standards to ensure the highest level of quality of the service provided (architecture).
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and client satisfaction.

What you’ll need 

• 10+ years of experience in technology roles, with substantial leadership and solution and software architecture experience.
• Extensive experience with enterprise and data architecture, system integration, and cloud native concepts.
• Experience and domain knowledge of cloud marketplaces and OSS/BSS platform concepts is a plus.
• Deep understanding of modern technology environments including hyperscalers’ native services (AWS, Azure), software development lifecycle best practices, and security-by-design principles.
• Proficiency in designing, developing and optimizing scalable and robust architectural solutions across diverse platforms and technologies to meet the requirements of large-scale business operations.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile architecture
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and/or refining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Demonstrated capability in strategic planning and alignment of technology and business goals, as well as ability to effectively translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of managing and developing high-performing technology teams.
• Excellent English communication skills, with proficiency in engaging stakeholders across various levels, including executive leadership.
• Client-focused mindset with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
